Naga conch sheanks are white conch shells harvested mainly from the sea coasts of India and Pakistan.They are especially favored by Naga people, an ethnic group comprising of several tribes native to the northeastern part of India and north-western Myanmar (Burma). The tribes have similar cultures and traditions, and form the majority ethnic group in the Indian state of Nagaland. Highly prized for use in Tibetan jewelry and mala beads, bead clasp. Beads measure 11 mm diameter. 21” length.
